Koran's Trials

The Stallion stands outside the large temple and when Koran comes out and gets on he heads toward the Dark City. He gallops through the volcanoes, somehow avoiding the ones about to erupt by a wide margin until they read The Dark City. On one edge of the city is the massive Black Gate which opens to a bridge crossing a lake of lava to Black Mount and Mal's castle. But first you have to get through the gate which is guarded by Denizens of Darkness who live in this city.

Koran looked at the Dark City and sighed slightly. "Even more people to fend off. Shouldn't be too hard, though." he said, shaking it off before heading into the city on his own. He did need to keep his ride safe, at least.

The citizens looks at him and smile, shaking there heads. The guards at the gate chuckle and almost immediately open it. "Good luck boy. The master was already cranky before," One says.

"Well, we'll see." Koran said quietly before crossing the bridge and heading towards the Dark Mount. It wasn't that hard so far, comparitively, but he needed to keep his guard up. You never know when something might hit you from behind.

Mal stands in the middle of his throne room, the first room you enter when you reach his palace. "Who dares to come to my palace?" he growls when Koran enters.

"Koran Dela Faustus Von Allerian, prince of the gods." Koran stated, no emotion in his voice or expression. He strode towards Mal, not wanting to do anything reckless or idiotic since that would make things much harder for everyone. Of course, that didn't mean he wasn't able to do something to make Mal sleep since sleep could effect pretty much anything.

Mal frowns and growls, "So your one of those bastards after my sister's powers huh? What gives you that right?" he asks, the room growing dark and sinister and his eyes blazing.

"Who ever said that's what i want? At this point, i'm not sure what i want. If you want to ask that question, ask my ancestor. He's the one to blame." Koran stated, still retaining the emotionlessness so as to keep his cool.

Mal frowns but his anger seems to cool, "So... your saying you might not take my sister's powers from her?"

"I don't know what i'll do but i just want this to be over with. I'm really confused! I have no reason to feel like this but i can't explain this pain! My heart aches when i think of her!" Koran said, starting to lose his calm as his distraught and highly confused emotions began clashing again.

Mal slowly grins, "Your heart aches?" he asks and sits on his black throne made of bones. "If you wish to talk about it to me you may. Rant if you wish. Don't worry, Thyme will wait. In fact right now she's in a deep sleep, dreaming of... well I don't know what,"

Koran reached out mentally and saw Thyme's dream, not knowing exactly what it was about but seeing it anyway. "Don't worry; she's dreaming sweet dreams right now." he said so as to put the god's mind a bit more at ease. "I don't know why but she's so beautiful. I can't begin to explain it but my heart aches because of her. It's like i've got feelings for her but it's happening too fast!"

Mal smiles, "Then take your time. Obviously you can see her dreams. Perhaps talk to her in her dreams, or use that diamond I know you carry to see the past. She's not what your family said she was. And a little extra time won't hurt anyone,"

Koran suddenly fell to his knees, his right eye glowing a bright crimson red. Out of it came a brightly shining ruby that fell to the ground, rolling off a bit. "W-what the?! Without that, i'm blind! That means it's too late! I have to go to her!" he stammered, trying to feel out where the gem was. In a way, it was to make sure he completed the trials once he started but it finishing its evolution at that time was coincedence.

Mal frowns, reaching down to grab the stone gently. He places it in Koran's hand. "I will let you continue your journey, hoping that you'll make the right choice. In fact I'll speed it up a bit for you. I can get you to the Sacred City but no farther. Will you be ok?"

Koran fumbled the gem into his eye and a surge of power practically exploded from his body. "More than ok." he said with a slight smirk, vanishing like a dream from a waking person's mind, reappearing upon his steed. "Just wait, Thyme! I'm coming for you!" He then nudged the horse towards the Saacred City.

Mal waves his hand, teleporting Koran to the Sacred City, a golden city filled with Light Denizens and other people who all adore Thyme and guards stand in front of the golden gates, blocking it but looking at him with a small smile when he appears.
