The Desert Provence

"Fine then go. You selfish lieing demon. Have fun living alone." Heave said before she shut the window and pulled the curtains closed. She then colapsed on the bed once more and sobed lightly. Why did they leave her. Everyone left her. Oh well she didn't need him anyone. Who needed a mate any way?

Auden hovers outside her window, his heart aching at her pain. He touches the window and closes his eyes, unable to leave hid mate in pain. He ghosts through the window and moves over to her. "Dont cry..."

Heaven ignored him and curled up int a ball. She turned her back to him and continued to sob. She was tired of people trying to hurt her. He heart probably looked like an old broken doll. All patched up with holes in it.

"Oh Heaven... You're breaking my heart," Auden coos, reaching for her and pulling her close. "Shh darling,"

"You deserve to be miserable. You lied to me and said you would stay then you tried to leave. I don't want to make you happy or make things easy on you." Heaven said with a pout. She didn't bother to calm down or to try to stop crying.

"Oh Heaven..." Auden murmurs and picks her up, craddling her to his warm, strong chest. He lets his instincts guide him and jumps from the window, flying them through the crisp night sky. He kept her warm even though it was frigid cold around them.

"Where are you taking me? And could you at last let me get dressed first? Let go of me. Take me back you jerk. I don't want to go any where with you." Heaven said struggling against him. "What gives you the right to just run off with me? I am not happy with you and I don't want to be around you right now. Take me back."

Auden shakes his head, "No, Ill take you back in the morning." he says and lands gently, carrying her into a cave. From the outside the cave looks drab and normal but inside it's a beautiful cavern with a soft bed and even different rooms. All of it had been carved by hand or magic and glittering jewels like stars sat on the ceiling. Auden had created it for his mate when he found her, a demon's instinct saying HD needed to prove he could care for her.

"Excuse you? I should have a say in who drags me off to who knows where. You have no right to just take me places with no warning." Heaven said. She sighed lightly and crossed her arms over her chest. She didn't like being unclothed around people. Not to mention she really wasn't happy with him. She could hold a grudge amazingly long.

"Heavan... Look," Auden murmurs, touching her cheek as he lays her on the extremely soft bed. "It's all for you..." he murmurs, stepping away and sitting on the floor, looking at her with wide eyes, still in mostly demon form.

"Weren't you the one yelling at me and trying to leave? Why would you want to do anything for me? You obviously don't want to keep me around." Heaven said with a slight pout. She turned her back to him and looked at her legs.

Auden whimpers and moves closer to her. "I am sorry..." he says and strokes her cheek. "I hurt you in many ways and I'm afraid for you. But I want you... I made this all for you."

Heaven turned and gave him a look. "Then you should have said so earlier. I don't like it when people yell at me. And liers are not acceptable either. You said you would stay with me and I expected you to keep it. But the moment you woke up you wanted to leave."

Auden flinches from her words and hides his face by looking away. "Sorry Heaven. I didn't mean to hurt you. I just... Hated myself for what I'd done to... You. My mate."

"That's not my fault. You were the one going all 'me demon you mate'. I never said bite me. So why were you trying to hurt me? You could have just pinched yourself or something." Heaven said. She stuck her tongue out at him.

Auden sighs, "The biting... Is a mate mark. That I cannot help. And considering the pleasure you got from it... Neither do you I think. But I fear I am... Too rough with you. And I was already restraining myself."

"Then work on your self control. I don't see how that is my fault. I was just trying to make you happy." Heaven said with a light pout. She curled up into herself slightly and wrapped her arms around herself.

"Heaven..." Auden sighs and stands, "Goodbye then... My mate..." he whispers and kisses her cheek, and picks her up, carrying her back to her room, where Niklas sits, anxious and angry. "Give me back my daughter you damn demon!" he snarls, taking Heaven from Auden and 'accidentally' knocking Auden back out the window.

"Is everyone just cranky to day?" Heaven asked. She gave her father a kick so he would let her down. She then went to find some cloths. "You don't need to be so mean to people." She said as she slipped into her clothing. It was so much warmer. "It must come with old age."

Niklas snorts, "Old age indeed. How are you love? Did the demon hurt you?" he asks before seeing the marks. Suddenly hisveyes turn light light blue and he growls, heading toward the window. "Ill kill the bastard!"

"Oh calm down Father. From what I hear you gave similar marks to Mother when you were mating with her. Perhaps more than once." Heaven said giving her father a look. "Besides I am well aware of what I do. I know what I am up against. You don't need to worry about me."

"I don't think you should see him again Heaven," Niklas says, extremely worried. "Demons are dangerous. And demon war lords even more so. The only thing stronger than them..." he begins and shudders.

"What are more dangerous than demon war lords?" Heaven asked. She started to gether things for a bath. She felt the need for a bath. "And I can take care of myself."

"Demon gods. But they are only myths, if even that." he says and sighs, leaving her to her bath. Auden sits outside the window, tears frozen to his cheeks.

"I don't know what I did to deserve this. Everyone is just yelling at me today. Isn't it bad enough that I have to deal will all these jerks on a daily basis? Now I have a cranky father and a demon mate who is out to make me feel bad. What did I ever do to the gods? Did I make them really mad or what?" Heaven muttered to herself as she ran her bath.

Auden hears her rant and smiles fondly for a moment. "Beautiful mate..." he whispers, saddened. He had wanted to stay with her, but now he had truly broken his promise. If only she would call for him...
