To the North is Tsunami Lake. This lake appears like most lakes, full of calm water, but every so often the water begins rumbling and foaming, the ice on the surface cracking and breaking turning the water into a death trap for normal humans and creatures. And soon after the storm begins a large wave rises from the lake and crashes into the land, keeping it wet and then it freezes, creating the endless tundra. Only the Water Denizens who live in the village nearby can survive the tsunami and regularly go swimming in the lake.
