To the east lies Earthquake Lake. A lake basin full of mud, sand, and rocks. It swishes and swirls. But when creatures come up it, it hardens instantly, looking like all of the other ground, except no grass covers it. The moment a creature gets far enough into it, the ground splits open with a terrible rumble and swallows them whole, closing around them and returning to its liquid state. Only the Earth Denizens who live in the village nearby can control the lake and cross over it.
