Geilinor, Provence of Peace

"It's all just so clear in my head. Every moment of it. I never thought the wounds would heal. Many of them didn't. I wanted to hurt you so badly. Emotionally more than physically... that's why I originally tracked you down as my mate. I didn't think you were but I was going to claim you were so I could drag you off and hurt you because I didn't think a vampire would stand for it. But then I saw you once and you *were* my mate and I thought I hated you even more. But I couldn't hate you... and now here we are and I love you but I still haven't forgotten those who did the torturing..."

Zaria felt as though he had just stabbed her in the heart. She had susspected that he hadn't really loved ehr or wanted to be with her from the begining and she had been right. It was as though her worst fears were spilling out of his mouth. This was just a wonderful day. First some crazy werewolf tried to kill her now her mate was tearing her apart from the inside. Oh how she wished she could hate him but she was tired of hating. "Well good job you've succeeded. I hope you're proud of yourself." She said pushing him away from her. She moved to the edge of the bed so she wouldn't have to look at him. How did people live with this kind of heart break. She didn't care if he was her mate he had no right to do this to her for something she had never done. Curse him.

Azrael jumps in front of the doorway and growls, his beast flickering over him. "Your not listening to me! Don't you dare try to leave me now, Zaria. I just said that I love you! I may have started out with hurting you in mind but now I love you and I want to see you happy."

"Well too bad. I never said I was going to leave you you stupid dog. I can't believe you wanted to do that to me. I never even said so much as a bad word to you before you kidnaped me. I said I love you and you tell me this. Couldn't you have mentioned that before?" Zaria asked and looked for something to throw at him. Not findinganything hard enough she crossed her arms and leaned against the headboard.

"I didn't think you'd take it well, and your proving me right," He says, watching her carefully in case she tried to bolt. His wolf wouldn't let her get away and if she tried he would hunt her for all eternity until he caught her.

"How am I supoused to take it? You just told me that you wanted to destroy me for something I didn't even do. Couldn't you have told me before I fell in love with you and before you put your baby in me." Zaria said giving him a look. She hadn't really ment to let that last part slip but she was so mad she couldn't help herself.

Azrael freezes and his eyes light up and get a distant look, "My baby? Our baby?" he says, seeming bewildered but happy. He shakes his head roughly and looks at her, "I don't want to hurt you anymore. I just want you happy now. I've wanted you happy since the cave."

Zaria let out a sigh. "I wish I could be mad at you but I can't really. I will forgive you especially to keep the baby happy. But for good measure I will not let you sleep with me for the next few days. It serves you right. When I calm down I'll let you back in the bed but we'll see about you getting anything else." She said with a nod of her head as if to confirm her words.

Azrael grins in a way that could only be described as a million dollar smile, "I don't think you can resist me for that long," he says, stalking forward with a fire in his eyes. "I've told you your beautiful right? You'll make a wonderful mother," he murmurs in a low voice.

"Oh I have more resistance than you would think. I am going to resist you long enough to make a point and you will learn the point I am trying to make. Compliments will get you no where." Zaria said giving him a dirty look. "And I am quite sure that I can be a good mother. I am more worried about the baby picking up bad habits from their father."

Azrael continues to grin, he moves closer and nuzzles her neck gently before moving down to her stomach and laying his ear on it. He places both of his hands on her stomach and closes his ears. "Our baby," he murmurs gently, seeming amazed.

"You act as though you've never been around a woman with a baby before. You're a werewolf don't your people breed like rabits? And just you wait until the baby grows more. When he starts kicking and moving around it will be very interesting." Zaria said with a small nod. She tried not to show how wonderful his face felt against her stomach. She could sense the connection between him and the baby.

"I've seen pregnant women before yes, many of them werewolves yes. But..." he begins and then buries his face in her stomach, beginning to laugh. He looks up at her with a bright happy light in his eyes, "This is *my* child. *Your* child. **Our** child!" he says, getting more and more excited.

"I kind of got that fact after it was you who made the baby possible. And you might not be so excited when I'm moody and show those other signs of pregnancy. I probably won't be all that happy." Zaria said with a small shake of her head. She gently stroked his hair.

Azrael suddenly looks shocked, "Of course you'll be happy. When you get grumpy I'll simply carry you out in the sun and bow at your feet and obey your every command," he says, absolutely serious.

Zaria let out a laugh. "You are too sweet. It just might make up for those other horrilbe things you've done. And as long as you're helpful I'm sure I won't be too mad at you while the baby is growing. I can't wait to see if the baby is as cute as their dad." She said giving him a light smile.

Azrael shakes his head, "No, it or they will be as beautiful as their stunning mother," suddenly he pauses and thinks for a minute. "Werewolf and vampire..."

"And pixie." Zaria interjected as she watched him. "You seem to forget the fact that I was born a pixie and was turned into a vampire. We will have very interesing babies. Although I don't mind as long as they are ours." She said giving him a smile.

Azrael smiles, "Well they could not be another's" he says, seeming very very happy about this indeed. "Ah what a miracle ye are lass."

"Is that not what mates are for? To love forever and breed?" Zaria asked raising an eye brow at him. She seemed rather confused by this. How had he not expected it? "You are going to be one happy daddy. So are we going to have a wedding perhaps before we have this baby?"

"If you wish you have a wedding before we will arrange it immediately. And I did not... expect us to be able to breed. Inter-species breeding is very rare. Especially with werewolves and vampires. I'm not sure about pixies. But vampires barely breed ever and werewolf genes do not mix with other races well."

"Well I would like to make it aprent to the world that you are mine and I am yours. Besides I want all my brothers to know that I am safe. They must be worried about me. And I guess we have just special enough genes to be able to breed. Although I can't promist that we will only have one baby at a time. My family is rather famouse for its constant sets of twins." Zaria said with a light nod. She gently storked his hair once more.

Aleana follows him but also talks, "Elves aren't generally let in. Approved members of certain races are allowed in for short periods of time to escort prisoners and such."

Azrael's grin gets bigger if that's even possible, "What a surprise. So is mine actually." he says. Suddenly there's a knock on the other side of the door and a deep voice booms from the other side, "Azrael let me the hell in," the rough and apparently very drunk voice calls.

Azrael growls and yells over his shoulder, "Come in Niklas, but behave yourself," he says and suddenly the door bursts open and a very drunk, larger version of Azrael steps through the door. "Ah so here's the pretty lady," the man says with a large smile. He doesn't have a scottish accent but more of a british-like accent.

(I might have forgotten to mention that Lock and Zaria are British.)

"They seem rather predjudice in this province. How many people actually live here? I mena really what races do they allow in here?" Lock asked as he continued to lead her toward the place his sister was.

Zaria frowned lightly as she took note of the man in front of them. "I all ways find it odd when people look alike. So who is this intoxicated fellow?" She asked raising an eye brow at her mate. She had thought he only had sisters but she could see how one would not wish to mention this sibling.

"Mainly humans. Along with many races that are absolutely harmless and also rather pointless. They don't usually allow whole races but just one or two out of a race." Aleana says.

"He is, unfortuneatly, my younger twin," Azrael says and glares briefly at his brother. Niklas laughs and smacks him on the back, "Ye might be the oldest bu' that doesn't mean you can insult me brother," his eyes rest on Zaria and he seems to look her over once, "Nice buxom lass ya got."

"No race is compleatly harmless. Humans can actually be some of the most evil creatures." Lock said with a small smile. He gently wiggled his wrists. "So can I get out now?"

Zaria glared at him lightly. "I think the fact that you are drunk might give him a little grounds to mock you. You should try to sober up a little so perhaps a woman wouldn't want to throw the nearest blunt object at you." She said and took a moment to look for a blunt object. She assumed that he had been complimenting her on an area he really shouldn't be looking at.
