Geilinor, Provence of Peace

Azrael snorts, "We don't get ulcers," he states but he pokes her back. "So I guess that's that. Now we need to get ready to travel," he says and looks at his parents.

"She ran from me. She died running from me. I told her not to run," Niklas mourns, "My one and only mate."

"You never know it could happen. You didn't think we could have a baby and now we are." Zaria said giving him a smile. She blinked lightly as she looked at him. "Where are we going?"

Sitka gently patted him on the shoulder. "It was an accident you couldn't help her reaction. You can't control people so don't feel bad. I am sorry though that she died running from you." She said with an honestly sympathetic expression.

"It's traditional for mated princes and princesses to take a tour around all of the werewolf colonies when they become mated and/or have children," Trin says, smiling at his son.

Niklas shudders, "I shouldn't feel anything toward you as a man is to a woman. Werewolves have only one mate. I'm unnatural."

"Sounds like a lot of fun. I get to have a bunch of werewolves glare at me and wish they could kill me. I just love that." Zaria said trying not to sound as sarcastic as she ment the words to be. "It's fun to be judged because someone forcibly changed me."

"I am sorry. I did not mean to make you feel anything. I just came here to help Zaria plan her wedding." Sitka said shifting her weight from foot to foot.

"I won't let anyone hurt you and I'm sure many will accept you Zaria," Azrael says and pulls her close.

Niklas looks up at her, "My fault, not yours. Your beautiful. Can find a man better than I could ever be even if you were my mate,"

"The one time I need you to worry you don't? I think you have a problem. I might need to find someone to help you." Zaria said with a small shake of her head. She gave him another poke.

"You make it sound like I have so many options. I have never been hit on before and I have been pretty and available for quite some time. So don't worry about it. I enjoy the compliments." Sitka said giving him a smile.

Azrael bats away her hand and kisses her quickly but quite passionately, "That's because I'm sure of this."

Niklas remains silent and just stares ahead, seeming out of it.

"Oh yeah? What are you going to do intimidate them into behaving?" Zaria asked raising an eye brow at him.

"Are you all right?" Sitka asked sounding concerned.

"Close," Azrael grudgingly admits. "But your not a bad person. There will be werewolves who like you."

Niklas looks up at her, his eyes ice blue and an image flickering over him. "I feel the moon... for the first time in centuries."

Zaria rolled her eyes lightly. "I thought that would be what you'd say. You are far to sweet." She said giving him a light kiss." He really was a sweet guy and she loved him all the more.

"Am I supoused to know what that means?" Sitka asked gently clasping her hands together. She fiddled lightly with her fingers.

Azrael stiffens and so does everyone else in the room who is a werewolf. "No... it can't be." Azrael growls, his eyes turning ice blue along with everyone else's. "They've found a way to make an artificial full moon?"

"Yes, And they try it too often. It causes massive problems," Trin says and orders the caves to be sealed off from outside and all mated pairs to be give a set of caves to themselves and quickly.

Niklas crouches and faces toward her, his beast flickering over him even as messengers come running through the caves. "All mated pairs to your caves! Now!" He freezes when he sees Niklas and heads back where he came.

"Who made an artifical moon? And do you need me to go get rid of it? I will for you if you want." Zaria said with a small nod. She didn't want the werewolves to go through a forced change.

"Is something going on? And do you need me to leave? I wasn't told that I was a mate so I don't think that includes me. Unless you would beg to differ." Sitka said looking at him.

Trin shakes his head forcefully, "The Geilinor Police made it. They release it in certain spots every once in a while to try and force unauthorized creatures out of hiding. If you went out they would capture you."

Suddenly a messenger runs into the room, "Niklas is changing! He hasn't changed since he lost his mate and a woman's with him."

Azrael stiffens momentarily, grabs Zaria and bolts to find Niklas. He finally finds him looking at Sitka possessively.

Niklas stares at Sitka, his mind totally shut down and his instincts shouting at him. "Mine." he growls, stalking toward her.

"Been there done that." Zaria muttered before she found herself being led down the hall way. She blinked in surprise when she noticed Niklas giving Sitka a look that made her remember when Azrael had claimed her. Oh deer how was that possible? She had said that Niklas' mate would be reborn she just didn't think it would be Sitka. "If you don't want to be his mate Sitka say so now." Zaria advised.

Sitka shivered slightly at the look in his eyes. She had never seen such a look. "Wouldn't you like to know my name first? And using a demanding tone won't get you anywhere. Manners are very helpful." She said trying not to seem nervouse.

Niklas restrains himself slightly, but just barely. "What be your name?" he asks, softly but still somehow possessive. His beast was raging inside for him to claim his mate but it also knew making her mad wouldn't be good.

Azrael looks at Sitka and Niklas, frowning. "If you don't wish to be his mate Sitka I understand and I'll help to hold him back as you run. Best make a decision now though."

Niklas snarls at Azrael, "Mine!" he roars, moving to stand in front of Sitka and protect her from what he deemed a possible threat.

Sitka gently placed her hand on Niklas' shoulder. "It's all right. My name is Sitka and I don't think I'd mind being your mate. I've never been asked such a question before but I think it I can say yes to this one. Don't get into a fight you testosterone full men."

"Just let them be, love. Sitka knows what she's doing and you can trust her word. Besides we need to get you out of here as well while the fake full moon takes control of you." Zaria said softl gantly tugging on Azrael's arm.

(Getting tired? You had a few spelling issues in that last line.)

Niklas makes a sound like a wolf's whine and shudders, "Sitka. Beautiful name," he says, turning toward her, his beast fully over him.

Azrael resists Zaria for a moment before his own beast takes over and he turns on her, carrying her out of that set of caves, locking the barrier doors, and taking her to his caves.

(No, sorry I was a little distracted.)

"Niklas full of werewolf. Come on let's go back in the bedroom and you can compliment me in your weird werewolf way all you want." Sitka said giving him a sweet smile. She gently took hold of his paw. She then started off toward the bedroom.

"I believe I did warn you." Zaria said as she allowed him to carry her. "I believe I told you I am allways right. Perhaps I should have saved our marathon until right now. Shame really that I didn't but I think I can handle it." She said laying her head on his shoulder.

Niklas plods along at her pace, temporarily restraining himself until they reach the bedroom. "Mine!" he roars and gently reaches for her.

Azrael vigorously shakes his head, "Not reincarnation. Different soul. Can tell. Odd." he growls, only able to speak in very simple sentences. At least until the bedroom. "Beautiful mate," he murmurs.

Sitka sighed light as she woke. She felt wonderful with a feeling she had never felt before. She opened her eyes to find herself snuggled in the arms of a man she hardely knew. Oddly enough she didn't feel bad about it. She felt strangely cared for. She gently stroked the arms of the man she was laying with.

Zaria woke to a strange feeling in her stomach. She sat up to look down at it. It was an odd feeling as though the little life force in her was expanding. She gently placed her hand on her stomach as she waited for the feeling to pass.

Niklas shifts and pulls Sitka closer, his hand gliding over her hair. "Good morning."

Azrael shifts, not noticing that Zaria was awake. He drifted from a light sleep back into a deep sleep.

"Yes it is." Sitka said with a light smile. She rolled over to look at him. "How was your sleep my big werewolf. Did little Niklas get enough rest. He was very active last night."

"Thanks for being helpful." Zaria muttered as she glanced at Azrael. Once the strange feeling passed she laid back down and cuddled back up to him.

Niklas smiles for a moment before a haunted look creeps into his eyes. He shakes he head, whispering to himself, "Not ready for it to end yet"

"I slept long and well Sitka. Thanks to a beautiful woman." he says, completely sober.

"I didn't see any beautiful women in here just little ol' me. I am glad you had a good sleep though. Then again it seems as though something is bothering you. What is it? And can I help you with it?" Sitka asked looking concerned.

Niklas looks away, "I betrayed my mate..." he says, "It's absolutely unheard of. Most mates die together and if they don't the other follows soon after. It's been hundreds of years since she died... and now this..."

Sitka frowned lightly. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to do that. Are you sure she was your mate. Perhaps you were getting signals from somewhere else and you thought they belonger to her." She said softly not wanting him to be upset.
