Sitka frowned lightly. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to do that. Are you sure she was your mate. Perhaps you were getting signals from somewhere else and you thought they belonger to her." She said softly not wanting him to be upset.

"How would that be possible though? Either you or her must not be my mate. Which means no matter how it ends up I've betrayed my mate," Niklas says, miserable.

"I'm sorry. I don't mean to make you feel this way. If I am really your mate then I don't feel bettrayed. I want you to be happy and if you found that with another woman it is fine by me. Perhaps it was a sign that she ran. Perhaps it was to show you that she wasn't really your mate. I'm just giving you ideas though." Sitka said with a small nod.

Niklas grabs her and curls up around her on the bed, nuzzling her like a wolf. "I don't know whether your mate or not right now. But you sure feel like my mate to me... and no more drinking for me,"

"Good boy drinking is bad for you. And you seemed to be pretty sure I was your mate last night. I was affraid you and your brother were going to beat the snot out of each other. I guess we'll know if I get pregnant right? That's how it works isn't it? You can only breed with your mates?" Sitka asked raising an eye brow at him.

Niklas looks up at her with wide eyes, "Pregnant?" he asks, seeming dumbstruck, "Yes but... why would you want a child with *me*?"

(Going to bed. I'll be on in the morning but at 4 o'clock I gotta go get my feet checked and then drive for an hour and a half. Then I should be on again. So around 6 or 7. Little or no phone service after 5 either.)

Sitka fromed at him. "Why do you think it sounds like such a bad idea? I think having a child with my mate would be wonderful. It sounds like a perfect thing to me. Then again I want to have children and find love. Why not with a mate?" She asked sounding genuin.

"But why would you want me to be the father of your child?" Niklas asks, seeming genuinely confused, "You barely know me and I... wasn't particularly nice earlier," he says and winces.

"Well if you don't want to then I can find someone else." Sitka said with a small shrug. "I just thought that if you were my mate that you would want to have children with me. As for you being a drunken idiot earlier, I understand why. I don't like it when people are mean to me but I am nice enough to forgive you." She said with a small sigh.

Suddenly Niklas growls, "I'll kill anyone who touches you." After a moment he seems shocked at himself and hurriedly apologizes, "I'm sorry I just... I don't want another man touching you."

"You could have just said so instead of growling at me." Sitka said and shook her head at him. "But you see what I mean now? You're not going to let me have children with anyone else so why wouldn't I want children with you?" She asked and scooted closer to him. She was a rather adorable young woman and it was clear that she had been ment to be female. She had long golden blonde hair and bright emerald eyes that lit up her fair face.

Niklas pulls her close and curls up, nuzzling her hair. "So beautiful... so much more than I deserve," he whispers. "If you wish to try for a child..."

"I know I am. But I am sure fate decided you had suffered enough and probably didn't have anyone else to stick me with." Sitka said giving him a smile and a shrug. "I don't want to try for a child if you don't want one."

Niklas growls and pulls her closer. "Fate could have found plenty of better people to 'stick you with'. Almost any man would love to have you. But your mine," he growls and bites her shoulder gently, just leaving a faint mark that for some reason doesn't hurt but tingles.

"I seriously doubt that. Most people just want to take advantage of me. Besides not many people understand my people and our change. Besides you need someone sweet and adorable to love. Not to mention modest right?" Sitka asked giving him a smile. She let otu a small sound when he bit her. "Now why are you biting me?"

Niklas growls and bites a little bit harder before pulling away with a smug look, "It marks my claim to you. All other werewolves can see it and will know your *mine*" he says, sounding and looking proud of himself.

"Sounds like someone is very teritorial. As long as you aren't going to do what dogs to to mark your terirtory. That sounds kind of nasty no offence." Sitka said with a small shrug. She poked him gently. "Sounds full of holes to me. That just means if I were to cheet on you it wouldn't be with a werewolf. Not that I would want to of course."

Niklas growls, his eyes ice blue. "No other man will touch ye," he growls and nuzzles the bite mark, somehow leaving his scent on her. "Ye are my mate woman. No other's."

"I was simply making a point you don't need to growl at me." Sitka said giving him a look. "Besides I don't need to go out and throw myself at other men. I will be content to just wrapping you around my little finger."

Niklas growls, "Good... wait. What?" he asks, sounding stunned. "*Your* going to wrap *me* around *your* little finger?"

"Stop growling at me or I'm going to hit you. And I am pretty sure I am the only one of us with little fingers. Besides I am the sweet and adorable one so I think I will be the one wrapping around the finger." Sitka said and gently poked him in the chest.

Niklas shakes his head and grins, "Your a feisty one huh?" he says and rolls on top of her. "Luckily for you I know how to deal with feisty women," he says and kisses her passionately.

"I'm sure you do but you can't expect sweet women to not have a spine. And you are not going to get out of every descusion by using your insatable apitite." Sitka said before letting out a muffled sound. She kissed him back wrapping her arms around him. "Hey look little Niklas is happy to see me."

Niklas shakes his head and smiles, "And you said you were modest," he teases. "Alas we need to rise soon or else my brother is going to start getting worried. And no looking at him like you look at me. We may be twins but we're very different," he says, growling in the end.

"Well I was kidding about that. I think you are all ready up and ready." Sitka said giving him a smile. She gently kissed his cheek. "I wouldn't stare at him, he is after all mated to my friend. My pregnant friend who would kill me if I did. If it makes you feel better though I can keep my gaze focased on little Niklas."

Niklas shudders, "No matter how much I like that idea," he says, his suddenly rough voice proving he does, "I'd prefer my brother and his mate not to see that."
