"How can you tell so early on?" Sitka asked with an expression of wonder.

"Well this morning I felt the strangest sensation. It was as though the soul inside was expanding. A certain someone would have been up to help his mate then he would know." Zaria said shooting her mate a look. She gently placed her hand on her stomach. "It is the strangest thing. I can feel the little souls growing inside me all the time. I wonder if other women feel this way."

"I doubt it. It must be a pixie thing. It makes me kind of want to have a baby. But I have no one to have one with so tough for me. I can't wait to see how cute your kids are though." Sitka said gently patting her friend's shoulder.

Niklas tenses and pulls his mate away a bit, "Lass, if you wish to have a bairn you have someone who would be happy to have one with you,"

Azrael walks over to Zaria, "Twins? Twin bairns lass?" he asks, stunned.

"Were you not the one going all 'why would you want to have a baby with me' and 'you could do much better'? I am pretty sure that was you. So I thougth that meant you didn't want to have children with me." Sitka said with a small shrug.

"I am not naming my children Brian. One Brian is enough I don't need two. And you would have known that this morning if you hadn't been too busy snoring beside me on the bed. And I am pretty sure that there are two of them." Zaria said frowning lightly.

"I was more of a question of my worth rather than my want. I wish to have bairns with you, Sitka. If you wish it as well." Niklas says.

Azrael shakes his head. "Bairns. Not Brian. It is not a name but a... child. A baby would be your word for it."

"You should have just said so. We can work on having kids later. Perhaps when we are alone. So are we going to eat soon?" Sitka asked giving him a bright smile.

"Yes I think there are two of them in there." Zaria said with a small smile. She gently took hold of his hand and placed it on her stomach. She had noticed a small growth there when she had been dressing. "Do you not feel it? Can't werewolves smell things like that?"

"Well of course, we need our energy. Plus food is good," Niklas says, smiling full heartedly finally.

Azrael smiles and leans forward to sniff her gently. "Yes... definitely two bairns in there..."

"Food is wonderful." Sitka said giving him a hug. "Why don't we invite Zaria and Azraek with us?" She asked gently running her hands over his shoulder.

"Then did you really need to ask? Start thinking with this head a little more." Zaria said gently poking his nose. "Can you believe it? Two little kids running around and being ours?" She asked excitedly.

"If you wish to ask them then ask them lass. I'd botch it up," Niklas says, laughing.

Azrael smiles fondly. "You'll make a wonderful mother Zaria. To two little bairns."

Sitka turned to the two beside them. "Um sorry to interupt but I was wondering if you would like to join us for a meal?" She asked wondering if they would hear her.

"Why thank you for the compliment. I am sure you will be a wonderful father as well." Zaria turned and gave Sitka a smile. "We would love to. I think my mate needs to eat. It's been a while since I saw him eat and he needs to stay healthy."

Azrael snorts, "I need to stay healthy so that you can feed off me you mean," he says, putting an arm around her shoulders, "But I don't mind,"

"I don't mean it like that. I want you to be healthy because it is good for you. You need to be good and healthy so you can help raise our children and people would miss you if you weren't. Besides Sitka can help me with meals. It's called a blood heart tree. i can feed off it for weeks and not feel any thing bad. Although I will have to feed from you at least once a week." Zaria said gently kissing his cheek.

Azrael laughs, "It's fine lass. I doona mind you feeding off me every day if that's what you wish. I was trying to attempt a joke,"

"I didn't find it particularly amusing. You know I care for you and I wouldn't do anything to put you in danger. I want you healthy for more than my needs. I don't want to make you be a meal for me. You're my mate not my sorce of food." Zaria said pulling him into a hug. Sitka let out an aw sound behind them.

Azrael hugs her back and whispers in her ear, "I'm glad you care love. But there is no need to worry. I... enjoy your occasionally feeding."

"Of course you do. It usually results in us sleeping together." Zaria said gently poking him. This time Sitka made an ick sound behind them. "Let's go eat and not worry about it." She said giving him a bright smile.

Niklas chuckles at the sounds his mate makes and almost laughs at how smitten Azrael is with his mate, "Och this is wonderful tae watch,"

Azrael shoots a glare at him, "You shouldn't be talking, *brother*,"

"I thought that sounded like a compliment." Sitka said with a small frown. "I wish I could feel as cute as you guys are. It's so sweet." She said making her puppy dog face at Niklas.


"Don't be mean to your brother, love. It is rude and I don't want you and your brother to go at each other's throats." Zaria said giving him a light smile. She gently kissed his cheek.

Niklas sighs and smiles fondly at Sitka, "Och lass. You are most certainly cuter than they are." he says and kisses her on the cheek.

Azrael growls, "I have reason to be mean to him."

"Oh you only think that because you're stuck with me forever. Although the compliment is rather nice so thank you." Sitka said giving him a bright smile. She gently kissed him on the cheek.

"Oh really? Please share. And I have reason to want to wack you for not being polite to your brother." Zaria said giving him a poke in the side.

"I may well be stuck with ye lass but that doesn't mean I can tell whether your cute or not." Niklas says, being honest.

"He's been rude and drunk for almost 3 centuries straight. What else am I supposed to do?" Azrael growls.

"Oh it just makes you my permenent companion not a lier." Sitka said with a small nod. She gently threw herself at his back and hugged him lightly. "Ah you're so sweet to think I'm cute." She said planting a big kiss on his cheek.

"Don't you growl at me, Azrael. I will make you sleep on the couch. I really don't want you teaching our children to hold grudges and have such a bad attitude." Zaria said giving him a look that said she was compleatly serious.

Niklas laughs, "Amazin' lass. How much I would miss ye if ye were gone," he says, lifting her up on his back.

"Ye doona understand lass. He's been rude, disrespectful, going after other werewolves mates. He went crazy." Azrael says, gripping her head in his hands likes he's frustrated.

Sitka smiled lightly and gave him a light squeez. "I am not going anywhere so you don't have to miss me. I'll be right here. Perhaps not in this position but I will be with you."

Zaria gently whacked him on the side of the head. "So go talk to him about it. You don't need to be a total testosterone head. I mean really you don't need to snap at me and take it out on other people." She said giving him a look.

Niklas greens, "Ah but lass this seems like an interesting position," he chuckles.

Azrael sighs, "Fine lass," he says and walks over to Niklas. "I think we need to talk brother,"

"I don't think we'd get anywhere in this position." Sitka said with a small smile. She hopped off of him when Azrael said they needed to talk. She backed up so she could stand by Zaria.

"Odd creatures men are." Zaria said with a light frown.

Azrael frowns at his brother. "What do you think your doing taking another mate? And why do you think you can just act like you haven't caused any problems for these 2 centuries? You *attacked* other people's mates. You tried to attack *my* mate!" Azrael says, getting angrier and angrier.

Niklas just looks at him, his eyes sad.
