The Desert Provence

"We're good," Nikran says, smiling at Orchid. His son barely reacted at his power which impressed Nikran and made him very happy.

"Well come over here. I would like to hug and be with my two wonderful boys." Orchid said giving them a sweet smile. She gently patted the bed beside her.

Nikran lays down close next to her and sets his son in between and on top, half sitting on both of their chests. "He's got magnificent horns already..."

Orchid turned her face to look at him. "What is with you and the horns? I fail to understand why they are so important. You're not impressed by his red eyes or his little not so chubby body? Or perhaps the magic power clearly flowing inside of him?" She asked raising an eye brow at him.

"I noticed the power of course, and the red eyes, and not so chubby body. But when he grows older his power will grow greater and he'll be classified as a demon war lord but he'll hide it most of the time. The red eyes are a typical demon trait, and most demons, except for minions, have very fit bodies. The horns however are a demon's most trait, physically and power wise. Different levels of demons have different types of horns. The size, color, and hardness of the horns shows physical and magical prowess. Plus a demon with small horns that are weak and light in color are less likely to find and catch a mate than demons with larger, tougher, and darker colored horns."

"Oh yes that compleatly makes sense. I totaly wanted to jump your bones because I saw your mighty horns. They were deffinetly what I like best about you." Orchid said sarcasticly. She rolled her eyes at him. She reached out and gently stroked his horns.

Nikran grins, "Perhaps you weren't immediately attracted my horns. Though I see you like them," he growls, his eyes sparkling, "But it's more for demon females and other horned creatures." he kisses her, keeping Auden in a safe spot between them though. "Admit it. You like the horns," he teases.

Orchid gave him a smile. "Oh yeah you bet. They are so magnetic and I know how much you like it when I play with them." She said moving forward and gently licked his horns.

Nikran moans, "I think Auden should go to bed," he growls and gently picks up his son, kissing him on the forehead gently and laying him in his cradle.

Auden gave his father a curious look them seemed to decide that going to bed would be a good idea. He rolled over and closed his little eyes falling fast asleep. Orchid gave Nikran a smile. "Oh someone must want to do soemthing dirty if he feels the need to put the little baby to sleep. She said gently licking his horns again.

Nikran shudders and lifts Orchid up. "With you doing that of course I want to. I want to anyway." he growls and kisses her roughly.

Orchid kissed him back wrapping her arms around his neck. "I know how to make you happy. Besides this will be an excelent time to work off all of the pregnancy weight." She said and seductively wrapped a leg around him.

Nikran grins, "You haven't gained that much weight. And if this is how you treat me after birth I'll make sure your continually giving us little children," he teases, eyes twinkling.

"I have gained enough weight for a full pregnancy in a week that seems like a lot of weight to me. And if you keep giving me children I will stay away from little Nikran to avoide that problem. So it wouldn't be helpful. I can react this way without children. I just am using the weight as an excuss." Orchid said bringing her other leg up to wrap around him. She licked his horns once more.

"I know love. It was humor, not an actual threat." Nikran chuckles, kissing her again.

"You can be funny? I had no idea." Orchid said with a small smile. She kissed him back pulling him closer.

"Thank you Orchid," Nikran grins, "If only we could show off to your parents,"

"They would probably kick us out the door the moment they saw us. They would hate me for being with a demon and especially for having your child. They would call me all sorts of things and disown me. They wouldn't even bother to get to know their grandchild. It is for the best that they're gone." Orchid said with a small nod.

Nikran's eyes flash with anger for a moment before he calms himself down, "If they did that to you again I'd make their deaths more painful than I did. Perhaps I will need to go see them in hell and make sure the minions are doing what I told them to," Nikran growls and pulls her close, "How dare they hurt you? Your so perfect..."

Orchid gently stroked his hair. "Don't worry about it. Because of it I am a better person. And I doubt I would have met you if they were good parents. I probably wouldn't have been wandering around plotting my escape." She said and gently kissed his cheek.

Nikran chuckles, "Why would you need to plan an escape when you have a handsome, strong demon who loved you from the first moment take care of you," he teases, serious about some parts of it however.

"First of all when I woke up in the middle of the night I had no idea you were even going to be there. Second of all I didn't know you loved me until much later. Not to mention that I thought you were there to kill me or something. Although I never really thought my parents would be that desperate to get rid of me." Orchid said gently kissing his forehead.

Nikran chuckles, "I loved you the first time I set eyes on you. And nothing your parents said or offered would ever have convinced me to kill you."

Orchid blushed lightly. "I don't see why you would like me. No one liked me. I never had any friends and I have never even dated before. What could I possibly have to offer you? I didn't understand why you were there and I was shocked when you kissed me. Even then I knew that my parents would beat me for letting you in. They all ways looked for reasons to beat me and that was a big one." She said softly.

Nikran touches her cheek gently, looking into her eyes, his own eyes very solemn. "I knew you were the one for me Orchid. That's why I gave you my necklace. I knew I didn't need it anymore, I had already found you. But I wanted you to have the one meant for you. I'm lucky you chose me." he whispers, his voice serious and tender. "Your beautiful, your kind, your funny, you understand others, and you know what it's like to not be loved. I wanted to give you that experience. And I wanted to keep you forever. And now I hope I will be able to." he says, cradling her close, stroking her hair.

"You have given me a wonderful experience. I will stay with you as long as I live. I love you and I would never want to be away from you. You have shown me a world that I had never hoped to experience. You make me happy and I want to make you happy as well." Orchid said and gently kissed his nose. She snuggled closer to him and held him close.
