Quavar, Provence of Land

It's a long story. I, Milhair, am-or more correctly *was*-an angel. In fact I was an Arch angel. One of the last three included Arch Angel Michael. I was the youngest of the Arch Angels but I'm also the only one who was created for battle and only battle. Unfortuneatly the fates became jealous of the other angels and myself. Seeing as I'm the youngest and that heaven had the most to lose if I fell they decreed that I would fall, to a woman. The moment I saw you I fell. Fell all the way down into hell where the demons attempted to rip off my wings. I fought my way out but already with my fall a part of myself split off and became demonic, which is the red creature you've run into problems with. The moment I fully got out of hell I and the demon became subconscious and our mixture created a soul much like a human soul but with our knowledge that controlled the body but had no memory of anything that was deemed 'personal'. The prophecy decreed that only destroying the woman who caused the fall would allow us to rise again but then another woman, also a fate but not one of the fates, decreed that another way could save us and that only she would know but if we killed the woman we would rise again but also be torn in half forever, living in heaven but hell in essence, the sagely voice of the angel says, soothing her mind again.

May let out a sigh as she came to a stop. Fine I will come back but if that demon tries to kill me again you can forget about it. She thought with a small sigh. She turned and began to trot back to where she could smell him. She didn't run for she was not at all eager to get back. I am sorry I made you fall. I didn't mean to get you into this mess. So if you are freed what will happen to Mikhail? Will he just disapear or will you be whole once more? He's he a combination of your two halves or what?

Milhair chuckles, Don't worry. I don't think he'll be disappearing any time soon. Even though he won't remember any of it he's in here trying to fight his way out. No matter my reassurances. And to answer your question, yes and no. He's a combination of the principles behind our two halves, not the actual halves, or else I wouldn't be here, nor the demon. Our abilities along with a mixture of... not exactly evil... from the demon and something not quite like goodness from me. It's a bit more complicated than that but that's the shortened version.

So does that mean that Mikhail doesn't really like me? Is it just you he who falls? May asked wondering who she was suppoused to love. She was confused as to who he really was. It was all so confusing. She spot him as she recrossed the river. She stopped in front of him and laid down letting oat a light whine.

The angel looks over at her and smiles benevolently, jumping and using his wings to softly glide over to her. "Mikhail does like you. Any reactions he has to you when we're not in control are totally his own. He knows nothing of this and, in fact, can not. Just think of us as three people stuck in one body. You've got the evil demon, named Nikran, the neutral person, Mikhail, and the good angel, me."

Then how did I make you fall? I don't seem to understand this. Did you fall for me or do I do something wrong without even realizing it? I didn't mean to really. I didn't even know who you guys were until the other day when I caught him following me. Hey wait a minute last night you were there weren't you? Before Mikhail and I you know.... The demon said I made you fall and then you said what a sweet fall it was. May asked not changing out of her fox form. She wanted to save some magic so she could make sure to have clothing.

Milhair nods, "Yes. I was there. And the second comment was not only mine. The demon wishes to be in heaven and will do whatever it takes to get there but even he admits we could not have fallen to a more beautiful or kind woman. Even Mikhail agrees, though not consciously. And do not worry, it is not your fault we fell."

You said you fell once you saw me. It sounds like it's my fault. Although when I asked him to sleep with me I wasn't aware there was going to be a group involved. I have never been with a man before and it's weird to think that I was with three in one night. She thought and shivered lightly. She walked over to him wanting to feel his warmth. She was cold from being in the river twice.

Milhair picks her up, cradling her close and shivers for a moment. "We might have fallen when seeing you but it was long in coming anyway. Even angels are corruptible and I had already begun to fall. Plus you couldn't have stopped it. If it wasn't you it would be another woman, and I'm sure then that the woman would be dead and we would be in a worse spot."

May nuzzled him with her muzzle as if trying to comfort him. She licked his face all over as if again trying to comfort him. Then I will try very hard to stay alive. I have to keep the Kitsune species going. I don't know if there are any left so I have to keep it going. She thought softly.

Milhair chuckles and shudders again, more violently this time. "I apologize May but I can't hold out anymore. Don't be afraid, he won't hurt you anymore. No matter how evil he looks," he says and shudders again his features changing to the demon but a less threatening look. He looks away but holds her just as tenderly as the angel did, silently.

May gently placed her paws on his chest and stood slightly in his arms. She gently nuzzled his face in a rather friendly gesture. She lightly licked his chin in a 'let's be friends' gesture. As much as she liked to fight she didn't want to fight with him.

Nikran looks at her and then grudgingly admits, "I guess your not so bad..." he says and strokes her gently with his wickedly clawed hands. "I apologize for trying to kill you earlier..."

May smiled at him and wagged her tail lightly.She jumped lightly out of his arms and returned to her human form. She was also fully clothed. "You are most certainly forgiven. Just don't do it again or I might be forced to get rid of what makes you a man."

Nikran's eyes get wide, "You wouldn't dare," he growls, standing up but not threatening her in any way.

"Then you wouldn't dare try to kill me again. I'm glad we had this talk. Now then if you wouldn't mind I would like to go back to where I am staying and eat. I am wondering if perhaps you could come with and I could restore a little of Mikhail's memory. Not the parts with you in it of course I would just like to be remembered." May said with a small shrug.

Nikran nods, "If that is your wish then we will do so," he says and reaches out for her, stopping when close to her and waiting patiently, "If you wish I could get you back quicker,"

"Well someone turned into quite the gentleman. I would be fine with you being all grumpy as long as you weren't trying to kill me." May said with a nod and gently took his hand. She gave him a small smile. "Feel free to."

Nikran lifts her up carefully and with three powerful beats of his black knife wings he has them in the air, heading toward the blacksmith's house quickly but smoothly. Within seconds he has them on the ground and he sets her down gently, stepping back. "I will return Mikhail now, if you wish."

"I would perfer if you wait until we got in the bedroom. He will be unconceous when I restor his memories and he will simply think that he is waking up after our fun night together." May said and gave him a smile. "Thank you for being nice to me, Nikran. You don't have to really but I'm glad you are. And not trying to kill me is a good thing as well.:

Nikran reaches out hesitantly, almost shyly, and smoothes his fingers over her cheek in a tender gesture, "I'm very sorry to have hurt you," he says, his voice rough and sinister but also very sad.

"It is fine I am used to people trying to kill me. Aparently people want to kill Kitsunes. I don't know how rare we are but aparently we sell for a good price." May said with a small nod.

Suddenly Nikran looks murderous, "Anyone who tries to hurt you will wish I had killed them compared to what I'll do to them," he growls and a surprisingly menacingly sound comes from the angel as well.

May flinched lightly. "Could you warn me before you freak out? I was simply pointing something out. And I know you need me around so I am not about to go find someone to kill me and sell my hide. Pardon me if that doesn't sound apealing."

Nikran suddenly is beside her, gently soothing her with an expression like he was worried about her being stressed or something, "That's not how we meant it. We know you would never try and get your self killed. We just meant that if anyone tried, against your will, to hurt you we would personally escort them to hell."

"Yes because I was planing to let someone hurt me. You could see that I was happy with you when you were trying to smack me around." May said with a small sigh. "Now can we go inside now please? I am tired and need a little rest."
