Quavar, Provence of Land

Mikhail frowns with her, "What is it? You mean this has happened before?" he asks, seeming stunned. The demon was still fighting against his bonds, nearly rabid with the need to be there for her.

"Kind of. The glowing marks and surge of magic happen whenever my power grows. Although I've never really had that little episode before. I supouse it was caused by the magic or by the attempt at my life." May said with a light shrug.

Finally the demon quiets down some, Are you alright? it asks.

"Oh... I guess that... doesn't make any sense at all," Mikhail says and frowns, "I wish I knew more than just battle tactics and statistics..."

"Oh I am perfectly fine now. Just don't let more creatures go around stabbing me. That was a real pain. And it makes perfect sense to me. I guess it's just a Kitsune thing." May said gently waving off their concerns.

Mikhail helps her stand up and he looks around, "We should get moving out of here, before another one comes."

May nodded lightly. She gathered her things and threw them in her bag. "All right I am ready. Lead the way then. I will go where you go." She said giving him the sweetest smile one could ever hope to see on a face.

Mikhail smiles and nods back before becoming serious, "Let's go," he says, taking off toward the one place he was sure they wouldn't be able to go to and still be as sneaky, the desert province.

May followed after him making sure to keep up. She didn't want to get lost or attacked. That would not make my day. "Just don't leave me behind." She said as she tried to keep up with him. Darn men and their longer legs.

Mikhail easily changes his stride to match hers and runs next to her. "Tell me if you need to stop or anything. We have a long journey ahead. We need to get to the desert province without staying in the others along the way too long."

"Right, I have no idea but I trust you. Make sure to tell me when to get there. I probably won't notice I'm strange like that. Not to mention if I get stuck behind you again I might be distracted by your killer behind." May said giving that part of his anatomy a squeez.

Mikhail stumbles for a moment before shooting her a teasing glare, "Don't distract me *now*" he teases. "Hopefully though we can make a whole province by tonight."

"I will wait to distract you until we are in the desert province." May said with a smile. She gently reached out and took hold of his hand. "Let's not stop and dawdle then."

Mikhail nods and continues along, holding her hand like a life line. Soon they cross into the next province and he begins slowing down, looking around.
