Erisnor, Land of Barbarians

Aneko let out a small sound. Her head tilted back and her body bowed slightly. The marks continued to glow and the strange charge surounding her seemed to grow. Sweat started to break out on her forehead. Her face almost looked like she was in pain.

Urtan struggles through the barrier, feeling it begin to switch charges so that it was trying to repel him away and pull others in. But it couldn't quite switch with him in it. He pulls his charge back, lowers the amount of electricity and energy he has in his body as low as he can, but this also gives him less time to get to her.

After only a few minutes her arrives at the door to her house and barges in, "Aneko!" he attempts to yell, voice strangled. Suddenly he collapses on the floor, passed out.

Aneko let out a small groan. She rolled over and fell off the bed. The barrier disapeared and her marks stopped glowing. She let out another groan. Everything seemed to calm down but she didn't move. She couldn't seem to move and she was a little unconcious.

Urtan groans, feeling all his power suddenly swarm back into him. He lifts his head a little and calls softly, "Aneko?"

Aneko let out a small groan. She didn't get up but she at least rolled over so she wasn't face down on the floor. She let her arms dropped to her side. She fet drained strangely enough. Sleep should give you energy.

"Aneko..." Urtan calls again softly, dragging himself toward her bedroom.

Aneko felt a small warmth spred through her. It started at her ears and migrated. What was this feeling? She let out a small sound. It was a little louder at least enough to be heard. She wasn't sure why she did it. Some how she felt the need to.

Urtan hears the sound and gets on his knees, crawling into her room, but just barely. He drags himself next to her and touches her cheek gently, glove on. "Aneko?" he asks softly, just barely able to say it. He pulls his glove off and touches her cheek, pulling his own electrical energy away from her and trying to jump start hers.

Aneko's eyes opened slowly glowing lightly. "Why did you come here? You didn't have to? I am aware of what happens when I sleep. Although I doubt I can stop it." She said with a light sigh. She turned her head so she was looking at him.

Urtan looks at her for a moment before slowly laying his head down and closing his eyes, too weak to force his throat to work and answer. His ungloved hand just lays on the floor, causing him pain.

Aneko sighed lightly. Life could never be easy. She bit her lip gently and took hold of his glove. She gently slipped it on his hand. She then gently stroked his hair. "Rest now. You need it."

Urtan opens his eyes and looks at her, but in his eyes is a plea that she protect him while he's down. Slowly he closes his eyes and drifts off, trusting her. Sparks dance off him and his clothes as he sleeps.

Aneko smiled to herself lightly. She tucked a pillow under his head and covered him with a blanket. She then went to make a cup of tea for when he were to wake up. She amde sure all of the windows were closed and locked. All the certains were closed and everything was fairly clean. She smiled slightly as she tried to get things together to make him feel better. It was kind of her fault. She moved Chihiro into the bedroom to watch after him.

After a few hours Urtan cracks his eyes open feeling the energy around him crackle and settle. Slowly he stretches and sits up before standing up and moving into the kitchen. "Thank you..." he grates, coughing. His throat was dry and that made it even harder for him to speak.

Aneko turned when she heared his voice. He was really quiet. "Oh it's probably my fault. Here I made you something to drink." She said and held the cup of tea out to him. "I figured that you would be thirst. So sit and drink. Relax a little and perhaps we can talk a little."

Urtan takes the drink from her hand gently and nods to her. He completely takes off his hood and mask this time and sips from it. Once again electricity seems to become part of the drink and makes it bubble. He takes a long drink and then sets it down. "You'll have to do most of the talking. My throat. It's damaged." he says, looking sad.

"Well let me see it." Aneko said moving closer to him. "I might not be a healer but I might be able to help." She said softly. She sat and moved closer to him. She hoped that she would be able to help heal his throat. It was a shame to see someone be hurt.

Urtan watches her and flinches slightly when she moves closer but then relaxes and removes the covering from around his neck. Along with the scars on his face were also numerous scars on the outside. "Scars. On the inside too." he whispers, "Was choked."

Aneko wears a slightly tender expression as she reached out gently. Her finger tips lightly touched his scars. The marks on her arms start glowing but a soft white light glows from her fingers and flows into his throat. She hoped it would help heal him. "I am sorry this happened to you."

"Thank you... That's very kind of you." Urtan murmurs, voice already slightly better. It didn't seem to hurt him as much and the roughness quality was going away. It was getting better by the moment as she healed. But sparks were also beginning to jump from his skin to hers, pleasant feeling but also a little bit like a light pinch.

"I am not really kind. I just don't like to see people in pain. There all ways seems to be someone out there not happy. I try to help but few wish to accept it. I am just happy that I can help you." Aneko said softly. She felt her power slowly dimming so a few minutes later she had to move her hand away. "I hope that is better."

"Yes, it's much better." Urtan says, smiling. His voice was much smoother and didn't pain him at all now. There was still a slight roughness to his voice but it just made it sound so much better. He reaches up and rubs his throat gently, but for a different reason this time. He reaches out and touches her cheek gently again. "Thank you."

Aneko smiled lightly. She brought her hand up to gently hold his hand to ehr cheek. "You are welcome but I do ow you a thank you as well. Thank you for being the one person to actually touch me. It's a nice feeling. Since I have never been touched in my life."

Urtan nods slightly, seeming unable to speak. "In truth, I have only been rarely touched. And it was only to do things such as... well choke me to death. Indeed, when I said I was a dead man it was not just metaphorical. I have been killed by choking many times." he says and gives her a sad smile.

"That means that you are very stuborn. Because you are still around. And I have never even been beaten. I am too low to be touched for a beating or a killing that is why I am still around. I am lucky in my unluckiness. I would give you my luck if I could but I do not wish it on anyone. It is a rather sad existance I have." Aneko said with a light sigh.

Urtan tips his head at her with a questioning glance and then seems to remember he can talk, "What do you mean?"
