Mal chuckles, "I wasn't given it. I *decided* to become God of Evil. No one seems to accept that. I wasn't God of anything before that,"

"You should be god of insanity." Cassie said with a groan. She flopped back onto the bed and covered her face with her arm. He confused her greatly.

Mal smiles, "That would be an interesting change. But my personality would also change to reflect that. And then we'd *all* be in trouble,"

"And strangely enough that doesn't scare me. I don't understand why you would want to be the god of evil. Wouldn't it be more wonderful to be the god of love? Then again some times emotions can be a pain sometimes." Cassie said with a ligh shrug.

Mal smiles, "Evil allowed me to become someone people feared. They'd give me information. Where my sister was last seen and such. Before that they just laughed at me or pretended not to know."

"Such a shame. But you do know they wouldn't give it to youbecause they were the ones to get rid of her. You should have just looked in the least likely place to find her. That is where I all ways look when something of mine has gone missing." Cassie said with a light nod.

Mal chuckles, "The least likely place to find her at that moment would have been back at home, sitting where she always sat, waiting for me and Thyme to come home for dinner,"

"Well I doubt the other gods were happy to help you. Besides she was probably deposited in a place gods didn't wish to go. But you could all ways ask her you know. I am sure a nice conversation would be good for you." Cassie said giving him a smile.

"Probably. But I tried to get her killed, before I knew who she was of course, but it's still no excuse," Mal sighs.

"One would think you would recognise your own sister. But I am sure she was covered in a lot of blood. I am sure she forgave you. Besides you have to have missed her while she was gone. So some catching up would do you both good." Cassie said giving him a poke.

Mal raises his eyebrows, "Are you saying I am *dismissed* and *must* leave your side?" he teases, chuckling as he stands.

"No." Cassie said latching onto his side. "I didn't mean you had to leave me."

Mal smiles somewhat tenderly down at her and sits back down, "That's all you have to say if you ever want me to stay," he murmurs softly. "I'll do anything you ask," he admits.

"You are one wonderful for an evil god." Cassie murmured and laid her head on his lap.

Mal smiles and chuckles, running her hair through his fingers, "Beautiful woman..."

"Thank you for the compliment." Cassie said with a smile. She ran her fingers over his leg. "So how do you feel about me?"

Mal chuckles, "You're beautiful and so far you seem to be a wonderful, kind woman. Indeed I'm sure it won't just be a 'so far' but a 'always' but I'm wording carefully,"

"Careful men are boring ones." Cassie murmured lightly but stayed where she was. "You are surprisingly warm. And oh so wonderful."

Mal grins, "So no careful men for you?"

"I'm not sure what kind of man I like. My father never let me date. He all ways planed on an arranged maraige. Then I moved out so he would have no say. He self named himself the king of the gods but he has no real power." Cassie said with a frown.

Mal chuckles, "Well... truly he had most of Thyme's powers but I suppose since he stole them he wouldn't know exactly how to use them,"

"Exactly. I am far wiser than my father gave me credit for. My brother was like the only friend I had and we didn't exactly have a normal relationship." Cassie said with a smile.

Mal chuckles, "What brother and sister has a 'normal' relationship?"

"I'm not sure." Cassie said with a shrug. She sat up and kissed his cheek gently. "But thank you very much for not killing me. I'm glad my brother introduced us."

Mal chuckles, "I never planned on killing you. You're too beautiful," he murmurs and touches her cheek gently.

"You think I'm beautiful?" Cassie asked with a small smile. She tilted her head to look at him. "Um... Mal, would you kiss me?"
