Erisnor, Land of Barbarians

Kaori let out a small sound when they took off into the air. Flying with him was amazing. Gliding through the air feeling the beat of his stronge wings. It was wonderful and couldn't imagine anything more wonderful. She smiled happily when they flew over the water. She reached down her little hand and skimed her fingers through the water. Little fish jumped up beside them as if to great her. She smiled lightly and wiggled her fingers. The water seemed to suround her fingers for a moment. They trickled over her fingers and started to form designs on her palm. "Wow." She murmured.

Erik feels and hears Kaori's joy when they fly over the lake and he shoots back up into the air, flying through the clouds before tucking his wings in and dropping toward the lake again. He snaps his wings open just shortly before and skims over the lake again.

Kaori let out a small sound of surprise and her arms tightened around his neck for a moment. She murmured an apology before she loosened her hold. She then was quickly distracted when she noticed a large creature jump out of the lake and soar beside them or a moment before it droped back into the lake. "Wow did you see that? I've never been to a large body of water before. This is wonderful. I can't believe birds get to do this all the time. But if you get tired we should head back."

Erik lets out a squawk and turns his head to see her. He meets her eyes and looks away but something changed. Suddenly his voice speaks in her head. ~I'll bring you here, and anywhere else you wish to go, as often as you wish. And I can fly for days without getting tired. Do not worry about me.~

"Oh I would feel bad if I made you fly for a long time. Perhaps we should head back. I am sure I would burst from joy if we saw any more wonderful things." Kaori said with a light nod. She laid her head on his neck and looked out at the world around them. "It really was wonderful and I enjoyed it. You are a wonderful flier."

Erik smiles and takes them back to her home, landing softly and letting her off. He shifts back into his own form, immediately clothing himself, and smiles at her. "I'm glad I could make you happy for once. And I'm not the best flier for certain."

"Just take the compliment." Kaori said with a roll of her eyes. She hoped up onto his back and wrapped her legs around his waist as well as wrapping her arms around his neck. She rested her chin on his shoulder. "I think I will accept your apology now. And you are a wonderful flier. I know birds who complain more."

Erik smiles over his shoulder at her and places his hand just under her thighs so she doesn't fall off as he carries her inside. "Thank you. And of course the silly birds complain, they're idiots." he says, chuckling.

"Naw I think I'm just a little too big for them. I know even though I am small I tend to big bigger then the average bird. Besides they don't seem to see why I wish to fly. They get to do to all the time and don't see how special it is." Kaori said with a light sigh. Her head rested against his gently. Her eyes closed and she fell asleep almost like a child.

Erik smiles and unwraps him from her, cradling her in his arms for a minute. He gently touches her lips with his finger and then strokes her cheek. "Goodnight my mate." he murmurs and shifts into a large guard dog, laying down next to the bed on the floor.

Kaori let out a small sound in her sleep and pulled the covers over her when she felt cold. She let her hand off the bed and groped blindly for him. When she found him she gently stroked his soft fur.

Erik barks quietly and jumps up onto the bed, very careful not to wake her up. He's in the form of a pure black husky and lays next to Kaori. He nuzzles her hand gently and then closes his eyes.

Kaori let out a pleased sound and smiled slightly. She continued to gently stroke his fur. He really was soft. She could have petted him all day. And she probably would....at least while she was asleep.

In the morning Erik cracks open his eyes and licks Kaori's hand gently, still snuggled next to her. He raises his head and watches her, waiting for her to wake.

Kaori smiled lightly when she felt him lick her hand. She opened her eyes to look at him. "Good morning." She said her voice heavy with sleep. She gave him a small smile and snuggled close to him as if she wished to go back to sleep. But she didnt.

Erik smiles at her, still in the form of a husky and moves closer to her head, snuggling close and laying his head on her shoulder.

Kaori gave him a smile and gently kissed his muzzle. She stroked him gently as she watched him. "It's going to be hard to get up if we just want to stay here like this. Not that I would mind but I would like to bath and eat."

Erik barks and jumps off the bed, walking out of the room before coming back as a fully dressed man. "Then you should do as you wish." he says, smiling.

Kaori let out a startled sound and fell off the bed. She let out a small groan an stood up. "Ow that hurt. Don't surprise me like that. So I'm going to go bath before I make us something to eat." She said with a light nod. She headed to the bathroom with a towel in hand.

"Kaori..." Erik calls and walks up to her. "I'm sorry if your mad at me for doing this." he murmurs and kisses her before stepping away and disappearing into the kitchen.

Kaori blinked in surprise before she blushed darkly. She then walked into the bathroom and started on her bath. She shouldn't think about what had happened or she would never stop blushing.

Erik smiles as he walks into the kitchen. She hadn't fought him or come after him, which was a good sign. He gathers cooking equipment and begins making breakfast for them, a surprise for her.

Kaori sighed lightly as she felt the warmth from the bath seeping into her. It was a nice feeling. She couldn't help but think of what hac happened. What was with him and kissing? She sighed as she felt herself blush. She hummed lightly to herself as she set about bathing herself.

Erik finishes breakfast and sets the table, setting everything up before he goes and sits next to the door of the bathroom, closing his eyes and imagining how it felt to kiss her.

Kaori smiled lightly to herself after her bath as she walked to the door with a towel wrapped securly around her. She opened the door and was surprised to find Erik on the other side. "What are you doing there Erik?" She asked clearly surprised.

Erik looks up into her eyes and smiles, standing up. "Waiting for you." he murmurs and looks her over with an appreciative glance. He waves his hand and her usual clothing appears on her. "Sorry but the food will get cold." he says and leads her into the dining room where the food and table are all set.
