Erisnor, Land of Barbarians

Terena stares at him with wide eyes, holding still. For some reason now she felt as if the ice were his fingers caressing her. At the moment she wouldn't have cared if the ice had travelled all the way up her and frozen her forever.

Rath watched her for a moment before his eyes widened in horror. He shook his head and the ice disapeared. "No, I can't let you die. It would be my fault. They never wake up after being frozen." He said his brow furrowing. He snaped his fingers and all the ice melted away making sure nothing was damaged. He then quickly went to his cloths and hurriedly dressed himself. Then he took off not being able to look into her face knowing that he had been seconds away from killing her.

Terena lets out a cry and climbs down from the rocks in a hurry, stumbling and cutting herself often. "Wait!" she cries, running after him. "Why? Why did you stop?"

Rath flinched lightly when he felt her run after him. He felt her voice in the ground so he got a gist of what she was saying. "I can't hurt you. If I hadn't stoped I would have killed you. No one servives being frozen. I don't want to be a monster." He said feeling pain in his heart.

Terena stops not too far from him, her chest heaving for breath. "I was about to jump anyway..." she murmurs. "And I would give anything for you to call me beautiful again... I know you don't like my singing but... I'm happy you think I'm beautiful..."

Rath turned to look at her. "Oh what do I know about your singing? I'm practically def. I can barely hear anything. And what kind of person wouldn't think you are beautiful? You are and you deserve someone who isn't going to try and freez you so he can keep you forever."

Terena looks away somewhat shyly. "But you could... keep me forever. I'm immortal." she murmurs softly, looking almost embarrassed. And I would happy to be yours. I'd do whatever you said. I can cook and clean and stuff for you," she says, now seeming eager.

"I am not looking for a maid. I have those even if I don't want them. I tend to only llike beautiful things. And I doubt you would want to really be with me. I am not a plesant person and I am not worthy of someone so lovely. You could do better. A man who doesn't have to worry about killing you. Although I would be a good man to you. I would take care of you and keep you safe from anyone but myself. I would not use you or purpousefuly hurt you. But could you really ever love me?" Rath asked. He sighed lightly but didn't take his eyes off her. He wanted to know her answer.

Terena tips her head and looks at him, thinking. "I don't know much about love. But I believe, from what I've heard, I could love you. I already like you," she says, blushing. "And I'm not afraid of you."

Rath stepped closer to her and gently took hold of her hand. He felt her heat seep into him from the small contact. "So then will you come with me? Stay with me for a while until you decide? It has to be better then waiting for another guy to be as amazing as I am and not die on the rocks."

Terena smiles and takes his hand. "I doubt someone as amazing as you will ever come again. Or anyone who can service the rocks." she murmurs and suddenly glows slightly. She sighs with relief when it's gone. "I'm released from the curse."

"Good, then we don't have to worry about you singing on the rocks leading men to their deaths." Rath said with a light nod. He gently swung her up in his arms before he took off toward his home.

Terena smiles up at him and lays her head half on his chest. "It was cold up on those rocks. Especially during the winter. It got even colder than usual and I was always afraid that I would slip and fall. But it was so cold..."

"Don't worry I will keep you safe and warm my little temptress. I might be a man of ice but I won't let you be cold." Rath said with a small nod. He continued with her keeping her close. He wanted to keep her safe.

Terena snuggles close to him, happy to be close and to be warm. She closes her eyes slowly, deciding she felt rather safe in his arms. Soon she's fast asleep, nuzzling his chest.

Rath smiled tenderly as he looked at her. He carried her into a large palace. It was beautiful and there were ice crystals every where. He carried her into a bedroom and gently laid her on the bed. He stroked her cheek gently before he lay down next to her.

Terena turns to him in her sleep and curls up in a ball, shivering slightly. Then she moves closer to him and relaxes, no longer cold. A smile curls her lips and she seems to sleep deeply.

Rath pulled the covers over her and tucked her in. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close. "Sleep well my lovely. For I will make you very happy when you wake. I think you will like it here." He said with a smile.

Terena opens her eyes slowly, feeling warm and laying on something soft. She had been sleeping on a frozen rock for years so this was like heaven to her. She yawns, stretches, and smiles, looking around.

"Good morning." Rath said with a small smile. He stroked her hair gently as he watched her. "You were sleeping for quite some time. I hope you had a nice sleep. Are you hungry now?"

Terena smiles back at him. "Yes, I had a wonderful sleep. Much better than a frozen rock. And yes. I'm famished." she says, seeming incredibly happy.

"I had hoped you would like it. I brought food up for you because I have yet to find clothing for you. And a bath is ready for you if you need it. If not I might choose to occupy it. I rather like the tub." Rath said with a smile. He picked up a try of food and set it in front of her.

Terena grins up at him and begins eating. Soon she finishes and she lets out a moan of happiness, stretching on the bed. "This is heaven..." she murmurs. She doesn't seem to notice that she's unclothed and the sheets are off her.

(When did the cloths come off?)

Rath smiled lightly at her. "I am glad you like it. I had hoped you would. My staff seems rather happy to see a woman here. It had been rather lonely around here. So what do you say about that bath?"

(Well you expect her to be clothed when going to sleep? She's a siren for heaven's sake xD They evaporated off >.> I'm tired.)

Terena grins, "A bath sounds great. What type of lotions, shampoos, and soaps do you have. Are they scented?" she asks, excited.

Rath looked at her for a moment as though she had two heads. "I am not sure. I have never really looked. I am sure I have so lovely scented products for you." He walked over to a cabinet and took out a towel. He threw it at her before he went to check the soaps and such.
