Turin and Telena, the Split Island

"Well that wouldn't be good. I don't really want to crash into anything or perhaps die. Although I supouse I wouldn't mind Leon joining me if I don't have to be alone. Although next time I hope it'll be you." Iridian said giving him a smile.

Axel snuggled into her touch and placed a gentle kiss on her hand. "Mmmm you're so beautiful." He murmured sleepily. He pulled her close and smiled slightly.

Broderick smiles back and kneels next to her bed for a moment. "I'll make you a deal. I'll send Leon down here to keep you company while I'm tending the ship but when I'm done I'll switch places with him. But you'll owe me a *single* kiss."

Eldora smiles back, "And you're so handsome..." she murmurs, content to lay in his arms, feeling safer than she had in a very long time.

Iridian gave him a smile. "That's it? I thought it would be something hard." She said and leaned closer to him. She planted a kiss on his lips.

Axel gently stroked her hair and placed a kiss her forehead. "You must be an angel." He said his voice full of sleep.

Broderick reaches up and grasps the back of her head, keeping her close to him, still kissing her. He stares into her eyes for a moment, his own shimmering like the ocean before he pulls back. "It's a deal." he murmurs and disappears.

Eldora smiles, "Perhaps not an angel... but a goddess, yes."

Iridian let out a small content sigh and placed a hand to her lips. She could still feel him there. She smiled and curled up in the blanket.

"Ah no wonder you are so perfect." Axel said with a small smile. His eyes opened slightly and looked at her. He blinked in surprise. "Oh I am sorry did I wake you?"

Broderick smirks as he climbs onto the deck. He finds Leon and sends him down the the cabin to keep Iridian company. Then he sets out and begins working on the sails and directing the crew so they could get where they needed to be.

The light in Eldora's eyes fades a bit when she realizes he didn't remember anything he or she had said. "No... it's ok. I woke up when the sun came up."

Iridian smiled lightly when Leon came to join her. "It's nice to see you again. Feel free to join me. I know it's a little cold out there." She said giving him a smile. She patted the bed beside her lightly.

"So you're a goddess huh?" Axel asked with a ligh smile. He continued to gently stroke her hair.

Leon smiles at her and sits next to her on the bed. "The cap'n told me you needed company. He said I didn't have any other duties for the rest of the day." he says, his lips spreading into a grin.

Eldora looks over at Axel, looking in his eyes before looking away. "Yes. I'm a goddess. Not a major one but a goddess none-the-less."

"Can I tell you a secret, Leon? I'm affraid of being alone." Iridian said giving him a small smile. She gently pulled him into her arms and gave him a gentle hug. "Thank you for staying with me."

"How can you not be a major goddess? One so beautiful should be know every where and praised." Axel said giving her a smile. He twirled a strand of her hair around his fingers.

Leon smiles and snuggles close to her, like a child with his mother. "Your welcome miss. I'm glad you decided to stay. The cap'n seems happy too."

Eldora smiles and chuckles, "I suppose. But I'm only truly a goddess of the sun on the sea. And also I'm only a minor goddess because I must devote my time to things other than my duties."

"You can call me Iridian if you wish." Iridian said with a smile. She snuggled closer to him and closed her eyes. She quickly drifted off to sleep. It had been a long time since she had so much company.

"That is good I supouse. If not as many people know about you then I can keep you too myself once in a while." Axel said with a smile. His hand travled down and gave her bottom a gentle squeez.

Leon smiles at Iridian and lays down next to her, also falling asleep, feeling like he had found a mother now.

A while later Broderick comes down, exhausted and a little cranky. He see the two of them and smiles. He grabs the blankets and pulls the up around the two before sitting in a chair by the bed and falling asleep easily.

Eldora's eyes fly wide open and she stares at Axel. "But I thought you..." she says, sounding confused but eager.

A while later Iridian wakes up slightly and looks over to see Broderick sleep alone in the chair. She gently climbed over Leon and walked to Broderick's side. She gently took his hand and pulled him up. She then led him toward the bed.

"And I thought you would want to bite my head off. Things change. And I won't bed you if you don't want me to and unless we are in love. I would like to have it e making love instead of just a quick pass of time." Axel said with a small nod.

Broderick blinks his eyes open slowly, still actually asleep. He mumbles sleepily and climbs into the bed, pulling Iridian down next to him. He curls around her and lays his long arm over her and Leon. In a way he was claiming both of them as people he cared for.

Eldora nods and snuggles into his side. "I understand... in fact I've... never been with a man before." she says, sounding a bit ashamed.

Iridian smiled slightly and snuggled into him. She closed her arms and plled Leon closer to them as well. Strangely enough they felt almost like a family. Strange, kind of disfunctional, but a family.

"Well I have never been with a man either. Or a woman so you have nothing to feel ashamed about." Axel said as he gently stroked her cheek. "You are beautiful."

Broderick smiles in his sleep and kisses the back of Iridian's neck gently.

Broderick wakes in the morning, his arm still draped over Leon and Iridian. He nuzzles Iridian's hair gently, trying not to wake her, and smiles at her scent.

Eldora chuckles, "I didn't suspect that you had been with a man but it is reassuring to hear anyway I guess. And... thank you..."

Iridian smiled as she snuggled into him. She placed a gentle kiss on the tip of his nose. "Broderick." She murmured in a happy voice.

"For what?" Axel asked as he gently twirled her hair around his fingers. "You really are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen."

"Good morning Iridian. And you too Leon. Oh yes I know your awake," Broderick says, chuckling and ruffling Leon's hair. Leon grins and sits up, looking at the two of them.

"Thank you for taking care of me... and thank you for the compliment. I'm sorry I caused trouble for you."

Iridian smiled slightly as she watched. Then a thoughtful look crossed her face. "Wait a minute. How do you know my name? I don't remember having an introduction."

"Oh what was I going to do if I didn't? I was just going to come here and be alone. I don't really like the dark. It reminds me a lot of the prison. I was alone and there never was any light. It was very lonely there. I did meet my best friend. They don't have gender seperation as much with the big criminals." Axel said with a small frown. He curled around her slightly.

Broderick gives her a small tender smile even as Leon gets up and runs out when the first mate calls him. He gently brushes his thumb over her cheek and then her lips. "You whispered it in your sleep..." he murmurs in a tender voice. He watches her with a strange tender expression in his eyes, his eyes swirling and changing color like a tempest on the ocean at night. "You're so beautiful."

Eldora lets him curl around her and she reaches up and places her hand on his marked cheek. "Why do you let the memories bother you? They're done with and gone. You are a wonderful, beautiful man now. And I'm certain you were before..." she murmurs, her touch soothing.

Iridian gave him a bright smile. "Thank you for thinking so. You're not bad looking yourself." She snuggled closer to him and laid her hand against his cheek. "You are a beautiful person and any woman that doesn't want you is a fool."

"I guess it is because I have not felt worthy of anyone so I stayed alone. When I had no one with me then I was left alone with my thoughts. I guess I dwelt on my bad feeling which only made my situation worse." Axel said with a light sigh.

Broderick rests his cheek in her palm and looks at her with those tumultuous eyes. "Do you want me Iridian?" he asks quietly, "Because none of the others matter... none of the others compare..."

Eldora pulls him close, "Would you like me to sing to you? It always made me feel better when my mother sang to me."

Iridian gave him a smile and gently pinched his nose. "Of course I want you. I don't let just anyone sleep with me. Why do you think I have been alone for so long?" She asked her smile slightly sad. "I don't want to be alone any more."

Axel looked up at her with wide eyes. "I don't want you to be a mother. But I don't want to be alone any more either. So if you want to sing I might like. I am sure you have a lovely singing voice."

Broderick gives her a small smile and strokes her hair. "You will not be alone for as long as I live..." he promises, his eyes showing he will do whatever it takes to keep his promise.

Eldora smiles, "I do not wish to be your mother either. But mothers are not the only ones who sing. Loves sing as well, and I would very much like to be that." she murmurs and closes her eyes, gathering her courage. Soon after she opens her eyes and begins singing to him softly in a beautiful voice.

"Good." Iridian said giving him a smile. She gently nuzzled his neck. Her tongue poked out to gently lap at his neck. "I don't want you to be alone either. I want you to be happy too. You deserve to be happy as well."

Axel smiled lightly and gently laid his head against her heart. He could hear her heart beating strongly against his ear. "Thank you so much." He said letting otu a relieved sigh.

Broderick smiles, his own smile a little sad. "I'm not sure I deserve to be happy with what I did. But I'm selfish enough to not want to give you up..."
